What is “BIG (Change) 50/50”?
“BIG 50/50” is a raffle lottery with weekly draws in which participants purchase tickets for a chance to win 50% of the proceeds from the sale of tickets.
Where does the money go?
Half goes to the winner each week and half goes to Big Brothers Big Sisters. 21 regular players raise enough to support the mentorship of one child.
How is “BIG 50/50” played?
Purchase a ticket at a participating retailer or at Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Georgian Triangle. Your tickets are entered in the weekly draws that you play. The winner that week wins 50% of the gross ticket sales for that week.
When are the draws?
The draws are every Thursday at 3 pm and can be viewed on Facebook Live on the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Georgian Triangle fan page.
When do weekly ticket sales close?
Ticket sales will close every Wednesday at 3 pm at Big Brothers Big Sisters and at all retail outlets. Sales made after that will be for the draw the next week.
Do I have to attend to win?
No, you can watch the draw on Facebook or wait for us to call you with the happy news.
Who is excluded from playing?
- Children under 18 years of age
- BBBSGT Staff Members, Board members, volunteers who play a part in the draw or ticket tallying. Spouses, and those that live with these excluded people.
